What Is an Egg Tray Production Line?
An egg tray manufacturing plant is a complete system for manufacturing molded paper egg trays from waste paper.
The line processes waste paper into pulp, forms the pulp into egg trays, removes moisture, and dries the finished products before stacking and packing.
A typical production process is:
Waste Paper → Pulping → Pulp Mixing → Egg Tray Forming → Dewatering → Drying → Stacking → Packing
Different sections can be configured according to the required production capacity and customer’s factory conditions.
How Does an Egg Tray Manufacturing Plant Work?
1. Waste Paper Pulping
Waste paper is first added to the pulper together with water.
Le pulper machine breaks the paper into pulp, which is then transferred to the pulp tank through a pump.
An agitator keeps the pulp evenly mixed before it enters the forming section.
Common raw materials can include waste paper, newspapers, cardboard, and other suitable waste paper materials.
2. Egg Tray Forming
The prepared pulp is pumped into the egg tray forming machine.
The forming machine uses vacuum suction to make the pulp attach to the forming molds. At the same time, part of the water is removed from the pulp.
The molds then form the pulp into the required egg tray shape.
Different mold configurations are available for different production capacities.
