Working Principle of EPS Foam Crusher

The working principle of a foam crushing machine mainly includes three steps: feeding, crushing, and discharging.

Firstly, the foam material enters the machine through the feeding port. Then, the blade crushes the foam block into small particles under high-speed rotation.

Finally, the crushed material is transported through the pipe and fan at the outlet to the hopper, which is then connected to the EPS granulator or foam densifier machine for subsequent granulation or melting.

Structure of EPS Foam Shredder

  • Hopper: The hopper of the foam crushing machine is used to introduce plastic foam into the machine. It usually has a suitable design to ensure that the foam material can enter the cutting chamber smoothly.
  • Cutting chamber: The cutting chamber is the key component of the styrofoam shredder and contains the rotating blades and the cutting chamber. This is where the material is cut and crushed.
