How to make plastic granules?

Raw material preparation

First, collect polypropylene (PP) scrap, which can be chips from used plastic products or other forms of PP scrap. Ensure that these wastes are cleaned to remove impurities and foreign matter.

Crushing and cleaning

The PP scrap is fed into a plastic crusher of PP pelletizing line to break it into small pieces and washed to remove surface dirt and residual material to ensure that the pieces are clean.

Melting and extrusion

The clean PP granules are fed into the plastic pelletizing machine of the PP pelletizing line to melt the granules through high temperature and pressure, and then the melted plastic is extruded through the extruding machine to form continuous plastic filaments.

Cutting and pelletizing

After the extruded plastic filaments are cooled, they are fed to the plastic cutting machine for cutting, which cuts the filaments into plastic pellets of the desired length. These pellets are cooled to become finished PP plastic pellets.
