Recently, we successfully delivered a plastic pelletizing production line to a customer in Kenya, specifically designed for recycling soft plastic materials such as PP and PE film. The customer has a stable source of raw materials locally and plans to process PP film, PE film, nylon, PP pipes, HDPE, and raffia bags into reusable plastic pellets for downstream manufacturing.
The target output capacity is 300 kg/h, with the goal of improving efficiency through equipment upgrades.

Solution Discussion and Technical Advice
During initial discussions, our sales manager Hailey learned that the customer handles a wide range of plastic materials, including both soft (films) and hard types (pipes, HDPE, etc.). The customer initially considered processing all materials together in one plastic pelletizing production line. However, Hailey provided technical clarification: Soft and hard plastics should not be pelletized together, as they have different melting points. Mixing them could lead to unstable operation and inconsistent pellet quality.
After careful evaluation, the customer decided to purchase a dedicated plastic film pelletizing line for soft materials like PP and PE films. At the same time, they also ordered a waste plastic crushing machine to prepare hard materials such as HDPE and PP pipes for future processing.

Based on the customer’s expected output and material characteristics, Hailey recommended a medium-capacity plastic pelletizing production line, tailored for soft materials. The main components include:
- Film plastic crushing and washing system
- Plastic film dewatering systems
- Screw extruder pelletizing unit
- Cooling water tank and pellet cutter
- Final pellet collection system
In addition, a scrap shredder machine was included for the customer’s hard plastic recycling preparation, laying the foundation for future line expansion.
